Thanks for playing Ascension: Road to Freedom. If something is not working, or you just have a question, the answers below cover the most common cases. If none of them helps, email us and we will get back to you.
Your heroes walk down the Road and fight on their own. You decide who is in the party, when to spend gold on upgrades, and when to step in: tap the battlefield to deal extra damage and charge Fury, then release it in a hard fight. Clear a zone to move further along the Road; a boss waits every five zones.
Turn Auto Advance off to stay in the previous zone, collect gold, and upgrade the whole party — damage, health and healing all matter. Check the boss's entrance: it shows its powers and which heroes counter them. Adjust your formation before trying again.
Collapse starts a new run from the beginning of the Road while keeping Memory fragments. Spend them on permanent talents in the Memory tree, so every run starts stronger than the last. Boss encounters change between runs.
It is a one-time, optional purchase that adds cosmetic effects only: golden light, a six-winged guardian that appears when your heroes return after defeat, and golden Fury. It does not change damage, health, revives, gold or progression in any way. Its contents are fixed; there are no loot boxes.
Tap Shop in the action bar at the bottom of the screen, then Restore Purchase. Sign in with the same Apple Account you used for the original purchase and the pack will unlock again. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, not to a device, and restoring is free.
This almost always means the device is signed in to a different Apple Account than the one that made the purchase. Check Settings > [your name] > Media & Purchases on your device, then try again.
Yes. Progress, heroes, Memory talents and settings are stored on the device only, so deleting the app removes them. The Supporter Pack is not lost — restore it as described above.
No. The game is fully playable offline. A connection is only required to buy or restore the Supporter Pack.
No. The game contains no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
Check the mute switch and the volume on your device. If the device is connected to a Bluetooth speaker or headphones, audio is sent there instead.
Email us and please mention your device model and iOS version — it makes problems much faster to track down.
