Android Privacy Policy

HollowFlame (Hollow Flame Games, "we") develops Ascension: Road to Freedom, also titled Ascension Endless: Road to Freedom in the game. This policy covers the Android app, package com.hollowflame.roadtofreedom.

Gameplay and local storage

The game does not require a game account or login. Progress, settings, tutorial state, run history and a cache of Supporter Pack ownership are stored on your device. The game does not upload your save or gameplay history to our servers, and does not provide cloud saves.

There are no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs in the game. The game does not access your advertising ID, contacts, camera, microphone or precise location. We do not sell personal data or use gameplay data for targeted advertising.

Google Play purchases

The optional Supporter Pack is purchased through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment. The game receives purchase information, including the product identifier, purchase status and purchase token, to acknowledge the transaction and unlock or restore the pack. Purchase checks run at startup and when purchasing or restoring access. This information is handled on your device and through Google Play; it is not sent to a developer-operated purchase server.

We do not receive your card number or payment credentials. Google may make transaction records and sales reports available to us to administer purchases and support. Google processes account, payment and service data under its own Privacy Policy.

Support and diagnostics

If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and resolve issues, not for marketing. Please do not send passwords or payment credentials.

The game has no embedded third-party crash-reporting SDK. Google Play and Android may separately collect diagnostics according to your device settings and Google's policies, and make crash or performance reports available to developers.

Retention, deletion and your choices

You can remove local game data by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or uninstalling it. This deletes local progress; it does not erase Google's purchase records or refund a purchase. Google Play may restore Supporter Pack ownership when the game checks purchases again.

We keep support correspondence only as needed to address requests and meet applicable legal obligations. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information you have sent us. Purchase records held by Google are subject to Google's retention rules and account controls. There is no separate game account to delete.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

This website

This policy page is hosted on GitHub Pages and contains no advertising, analytics scripts or tracking pixels. GitHub may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, when serving this page under the GitHub Privacy Statement.
